Yea hardly any "exclusive third party games" have been announced for next year yet does this even matter? Well of course it matters but not as much as you guys seem to think. (America only)

First off Sony has a great lineup of first party games. Sure it can't make the Vita thrive but they are defiantly enough to make it do decent. Nintendo survived the whole gamecube generation without huge third party support and for the coming year the Vita can do the same.

On top of it there is a lot more third party support than you guys believe. Most of the stupid 3DS games are also stupid games on Vita. Exclusives or not they help the console. In addition Vita has tons of third party exclusives already out and coming out next year yet just because they are download only they don't count? I understand the logic because download games are usually shorter and less "system selly" but on Vita they are a huge factor of its success. These games don't need to be announced a year in advance so we can only start worrying in 12 months.

Also as much as you hate them, console ports exclusive to Vita are good and do exist. Take Need for Speed as an example. The Vita version has 90% of the console content plus its own bonuses yet that can't be considered important in the handheld wars? Just like saying a game is exclusive to xbox when it is also on pc we should consider Vita console ports as a form of exclusives. Ad in that porting to Vita only takes a few months and it makes sense that none of these exclusive ports have been announced for next year.

On top of that the 3DS is a different beast than the PSV. It will naturally have a lot of exclusive content because it appeals to a different gamer. No dev is going to port fluffy princess to Vita this early in its life.
