Parokki said: Why do games on the Virtual Console cost as much as they do? Because Nintendo thought people would buy them at the current prices, and apparently they are. We might see a price cut in the future, but not until sales numbers drop. Nintendo is a lot "friendlier" than the other two console makers, but they also like to make money. I'd like it if they were a non-profit organization aimed at providing excellent games for the lowest prices imaginable, but stuff like that doesn't happen in this boring thing called reality. =P |
Damn! Fooled again! I always thought that Nintendo was an NPO and that the cash flow was used to cure cancer and AIDS. :P
I'd never buy a NES game for the VC, but maybe Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana for SNES.
