Building a desktop for video processing, what sort of specs to look for?

yeah. I dig around and it seems like it's useless if you're getting a graphics card.

I haven't shopped for computer parts so long, all these new features is quite confounding.

I'll probably end up ordering all parts from newegg, easier to just buy from one source.

Any of those would be fine, but if you are not going to be gaming on the PC it might be worth just skiping it and investing everything in the CPU etc.
