My idea is that if Nintendo has changed their philosophy and opens up Wii U as an open platform for F2P gaming, it could be a huge deal. But no one seems to be caring at all about this potential selling point, even Nintendo themselves. It's weird. I would imagine that whoever really opens up to F2P gaming is really going to change the console market in a very disruptive way - I could be wrong, but who knows. You could be right, I guess we'll have to wait and see. What I thought it sounded more like is that Nintendo will embrace mostly anything on the platform, which will probably see PS3-levels of F2P support. Some nice titles here and there (and maybe more if the market grows), but nothing earth-shattering.
Perhaps I'm wrong though!
