Gballzack might have meant the DS lite.  While the DS did well, it did not blow PSP out of the water.  So, they went the two prong approach, saying that there would be a next gen GB and DS was not it and launch DS lite and GB micro to see which would do better.  Seems that the lite has captured hearts and minds, so we're hearing less and less of the "next" GB
