It's a rip off but not a clone?  Come on we're splitting hairs here.  If you're find with it being a clone or a ripoff or whatever, that's fine and I hope you enjoy your game.

Rip off and clone are different things. A rip off would be just in concept while a clone would be more of a duplicate (imagine if PSASBR had percentage health bars and characters like Fat Princess had inflated multi jump floating or sword characters had the same swings as Zelda or Marth). Rip off has negative conotations, really it is best to say they are in the same genre. This whole rip off issue is crazy, SSB wasn't the first brawler time game either, they just made the best with mascots. Sony can do the same thing, if it was a clone they could be taken to court, of course there isn't grounds for that no matter how bad certain fans clamour. It's an avoidance of truth.
