First of all, it is a beta not a demo. There are only 6 characters in the beta and even the store demo version they wipped up is an early build despite having more characters.
The characters aren't unbalanced in my opinion, they play very differently from eachother and it takes time to learn their moves. If there is unbalancing, that will be fixed from the beta data or even after release if need be, especially for new dlc characters.
The game is faster paced then SSB, different physics, has more moves, and the characters so far are not clones of eachother.(even Cole and evil Cole).
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
