The version running in 60fps was the the PC version... not Wii U.
"in the case of Mass Effect 3 we suspect that the PC version was being used." - Digital Foundry
The developer, Straight Right, only said "The game will run at 720p." for now.
Edit- The Assassin's Creed 3 Wii U showed until now lacks a lot of graphics features present in PS360 version.
