it's funny, you said cod improved every year, then you see cod preorders here are even lower as in 2010 and instead of you thinking about too low cod preorder numbers you think halo has to be overtracked. that makes 0 sense. everything you said should let you think cod is undertracked.

btw if you think halo is so much overtracked, can you say me what you believe halo 4 will sell first week? reach sold 2.3 million right? preorder numbers of halo 4 are lower as for reach here on vgc and if you think those lower numbers are even overtracked, what do you expect for halo 4 first week? 1.4 million? or mabye even less?

Because halo reach is most likely overtracked, plus halo is either over tracked or black ops on ps360 are undertracked, it's one of them.

Plus halo 4 is lagging behind because maybe call of duty is comming out? in the same month? reach didn't release in the same launch window as black ops so there was no need for choosing, plus it's no lie that call of duty on 360 is much bigger then halo in north america, so there is no way halo and cod are this close.

maybe reach is overtracked but not first week sales because we got official numbers for the first week of reach with all these "new exlusive game sales record" blabla. btw npd said 3.3 million reach sales in september 2010.

then you first said halo and cod aren't competitiors "plus halo isn't competing with cod", now they are and cod is taking halo sales but hey, why not also vice versa? i mean, i will buy halo and not cod because of that. some friends will buy cod and i would buy it to play with them but i won't because i know i will only play halo...so yes, it is possible and even likely that cod will take halo sales but it is also likely that halo will take cod sales.

then you say it is no lie that cod is bigger as halo in usa on xbox which is true, black ops sold better than reach but first of all, blops2 is also in front of halo 4 in preorders now and has still one more week for preorders and then, black ops sold probably better to people who didn't preorder than reach did and you simply can't know how much cod is bigger as halo nowadays for first week sales because there is only one game called reach which is comparable. all other games of halo can't really used as comparison and looking back at halo 3, cod wasn't so huge then.

i'm still looking forward to get a prediction from you about first week halo 4 sales in usa. reach sold 3.3 million in september 2010 in north america. i really wonder what you expect for halo 4 if you think it's is so much overtracked.


Worldwide? i'd say halo should sell around 3.5m in week 1, Bops 2 on 360 should sell 8m in week one and bops 2 on ps3 should sell 6.5m in the first week

Halo should end up the third highest selling game this year behind pokemon and call of duty.
