 A new console is on the horizon, and I as a gamer, can hear the call of the hype. A new controller that offers some new gameplay possibilities, better graphics, the return of a loved IP (Pikmin yay), a better online (rumoured), the promise of better 3rd party support (for worst of better), the hope of a more streamlined release of games from nintendo, a very nice looking launch line up and launch window (bayonneta 2, mh3u, pikmin 3, tw101, LCS between others...) a good price point... wait... not so much...

It is well known that gaming outside of the US is very expensive, and by very I mean sometimes even twice as much. So I thought it could be a good idea to ilustrate how much are we "supposed" to pay to fill our gaming needs.

Just for reference the US.

Basic: $299

Deluxe: $350

My case Costa Rica:

Basic: c269000 = $528

Deluxe: c299000 = $586

Games: c49990 = $98

So what about your country, are you importing? buying locally? not buying until the price drop?

I am buying day 1, but I am not sure where. Amazon is not selling it, so it is going to be difficult to import it unless I find a good price on ebay ;_;
