what the guy meant is "the architecture is so good to develop for so you can really spend all your time and money you have in developing the games instead of wasting much of that time/money to handle the problems of the architecture"
but it would be much better to say "the architecture is shit so we first have to learn how to handle this shit but hey, we love nintendo so much we will love to waste millions just for that" right? because then, he wouldn't be lazy!
