I don't give a fuck about where the mic jack is or that you need to buy a headset instead of using the built in mic, therefor this article is useless for me and it's grasping at straws anyway to be perfectly honest. What I give a fuck about is that I am not able to talk to my friends while playing NSMBU or ZombiU while they play something else.
It boggles my mind how Nintendo advertised the Wii U as "together alone" or "seperated together" or whatever it was and then pulled a stunt like this. You know Pre E3, where they were showing multiple people in the same room, where everyone does something else and they wanted to bring them together with the Wii U? Why oh why, does that not apply to their OS? Friends who all play by themselves different games but are connected by a OS level voice chat to have a good time together!
