Something that I didn't think about when I made my first post on this thread...it actually makes for the mic on the GamePad not be used for chat.
Think about it, the mic is on the controller, that means you will have to hear all the clicking of other players buttons, obviously do to their proximity, which needless to say, will be annoying.
So it makes sense to have a headset instead of the GamePad mic by default, you can obviously used it for video chat and other stuff but not in-game. (Unless the developers want to I guess)
