I no longer own a 360, but cross game chat is the feature I miss the most. Sony got it right with the Vita by making sure to include cross game chat with up to eight people in a single room, so expect to see this on the PS4 as well as the NextBox.
For the Wii U, being as anti Nintendo as I am, I'm only purchasing the console for exclusives, so it doesn't bother me too much, but I'd really like to be able to talk to friends while I'm playing something that they might not be playing. I play a decent amount of casual/well known titles, but atleast 30-50% of the games I own are the more niche lesser known titles, that are almost always better than the casual games that get much better scores. Because of this I really love the cross game chat feature, so I can play a better game and still be able to talk to friends. :P
