I remember doing reports for this myself and Apples use Foxconn, but no one cared. When Sony made use of them, no one cared. When Microsoft made use of them, no one cared. Why is it a such a big deal now and not then? Also, why is all the news putting 100% of the focus on Nintendo and 0% on Foxconn?

The news media disgusts me often. People aren't concered about those children at all, the treatment at the company or their being used for labor. They are only concerned about associations made with this one paticular company. Where did this trend of absolute negative focus come from?

seriously? I honestly don't remember reading about those but if I did you can rest assured that I would have bombarded them!

You didn't read about them because reports were nonexistent in the mainstream news media, and

http://www.ibtimes.com/chinese-contractors-foxconns-underage-worker-use-affects-sony-google-apple-amazon-nokia-847987 the reason their were hardly any reports is because no one cared about nonw...non American children..

That was just this month and the reports i did were over year ago. They haven't even tried to do anything abou it. The gaming media has been silent all of these years, but now that they can accosciate with the Nintendo, every journalist is making a huge fuss about it. My problem is their reason for it and the way they are doing it. If they truly cared they would have said something earlier back with Sony, Apple and Mircrosoft who were and still are their biggest employers.

At least Nintendo is trying to fix the problem. Microsoft and Sony clammed up and did nothing.

well Nintendo has a good reputation so they will of course do something about it. the other two though do not!
