Don't you ever speak negatively of Jeremy Jahns again. You hear me? NEVER!! That man is a saint, sent here from heaven above to review movies and video games.
WIth that out of the way, I think the game is a little better than he makes it out to be and I had a lot of fun with it but, when judged against other Mario games and how they rank against other games of their time, I have to say that the leap between this game and the ones before it are almost non-existent. It's still better than the first two but just by a hair. I personally love the series but, if their was a NSMB collection and all of the levels were tossed in randomly, I don't know if I could tell where one game originally came from (aside from the power-ups).
