I bet you do, but I certainly don't. I've never met someone that said expressed any desire to acquire Wii Sports and I know a lot of people with Wii's. Also, why would people buy a game that came with the system? What would they need 2 for?

They didn't buy the game again considering it came with the system.  They bought the system to play the game.  The people not really into gaming are the ones I am mainly talking about (casuals).  Do you think that many old people in retirement homes explored the Wii library past games such as Wii Sports and Wii Fit?  Probably not and I highly doubt those types of consumers bought NSMB, Brawl, or even Mario Kart.  Most of those people were content with just experiencing Wii Sports and Wii Fit.

Also, Wii Sports might be downplayed a lot due to being a pack in game but you should check out its sales in Japan.  Everyone of those sales are from people that bought the game considering it was never packed in with the system in Japan.  Wii Sports was a huge system seller.
