Discovering Sony

It is the first Sony console ive owned, but i have to say its a superb system and i feel im really getting my moneys worth from it. Nintendo will always be my preference, but Sony will be getting my hard earned cash if i decide to get a second console next gen. p.s Uncharted is a superb franchise.

And this is an excellent way to game. Last gen I got a Gamecube as a primary and a PS2 as a secondary console, but I bought my PS2 late into its life (just like you and PS3) so I didn't play too many games. This gen I bought an X-Box because I never had a MS brand console (I owned all Sony's in the past, PS2 and PSP are the only working ones which remain), and to be honest I think it woul have been smarter to have waited and got a PS3/Wii first then a 360 Arcade for the few exclusives.

Anyway if you get Sony and Nintendo, you really get a quality gaming experience. No offence to MS, but they never produce small selling niche games, and usually most of the exclusives they buy off don't stay exclusive.

Uncharted surprised me too, I'm not a fan of the Action/Adventure genre, and I think the shooting mechanics are okay at best, but Drake....he is a character.
