I would pick the 49ers

Seahawks have almost no offense. The only reason they beat the Pats is because the Pats have the worst pass defense in the NFL. All you have to do is throw the ball deep to a reciever being covered by McCourty and your gauranteed either a completion or a pass interference call. The reason the Pats are a hard team to beat is because Brady usually puts the team far enough ahead that the defense can afford to screw up a few times. Last Sunday the Pats came away with 0 points in 2 red zone scenarios. That would have been the difference in the game and one of those was completely on the Pats and had nothing to do with the Seahawks defense.

The 49ers are not going to let you throw 50 yard bombs down the middle of the field every time your in a hole. Add in the fact that the Seahawks are playing in San Francisco and I put their chances of winning very low.

I know and until I see a team win it all again on all offense and no defense I will not be true believer in them. The fact is it is not the best model for the NFL that tends to work like copycats. I like a mean, green, defensive machine in a physical game a lot of times more than offensive blowouts or all out offensive showdowns (sometimes). Teams like KC, GB, WAS and NO have all proven the one sided game is not the answer. Alex Smith could have a good game as he has most of the season I just think a better balanced offense and defense like the Giants has proven the better answer. I also have to give a shoutout to the Bears as they pretty much have this type of system and have done well.
