Nobody said doomed. The article says Sony could lose the holiday sales war. They can still sell a decent amount and make profit, but would still lose to Nintendo and MS.

The ps3 has been the best selling home console mostly every week this year, why would this change?? Halo 4 will boost Microsoft and the Wii U obviously but it won't loose market share. That is bollox.  

I know you don't leik ps3 doomed threads but the very reasonable OP article was about that the others are having pricecuts for the holidays and the ps3 doesn't have one.. and analyst, like it's their job, then may say that the others are in a better position for the holidays... which could be true
