Sounds like it's right up my alley.

Not on the same level I know, but I remember Nier getting all these bad reviews talking about not knowing what it wanted to be, the gameplay being iffy, yadda yadda. I played it and was like "WHOA!". I fucking loved that game. Voice acting and story were really good. Oh yeah, the music was good too.

It's strange you should say that. Although they're pretty different games, I find them to be appealing in the same sort of way. Both have very moving stories, and they're definitely two of the experiences I will remember mostly vividly from this generation.

And man, the music in Nier was fucking unbelievable. I keep that OST on pretty heavy rotation. Deadly Premonition is no slouch in the music department, either. It has some great Angelo Badalamenti-esque stuff, which really drives home all the more just how Twin Peaks-y it all is.

I hear ya, Nier was special.

Never played Twin Peaks, but you keep mentioning it. Time to do some research I guess.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
