I have not doub that a 94 metacritic score is a certainly reasonable; however, game of the year is usually an individual magazine 's choice of GOTY...if you're going by the academy, then I'd say no, as FPS in the last 5 years have not made that list. Also reviewing magazine choices, I didn't find any that included a Halo game in the list.
