By the way, when I said your post was shallow, I meant it lightheartedly. Just incase I came off as too serious. 
I still disagree, a person can have everything and still be miserable, a person can have very little and still be happy. The scale out of 10 is also subjective, a 1/10 is the lowest point in their lives, not somebody else's.
