Not saying Sony is doomed, but the article only mentioned that the PS3 sold almost the same as the 360 (in a shorter time), he doesn't take into consideration how much money Sony lost in the first couple of years, doesn't matter if the PS3 will outsell the 360.

No one ever mentions the $1Billion+ Microsoft lost on the RROD epidemic either.
The Xbox 360 isn't as profitable as many believe.

They made back that billion and then some. It isnt the 5-6 billion that PS3 lost for simply "existing" in its first few years.

Not according to this article:

http://www.businessinsider.com/chart-of-the-day-microsoft-losses-on-xbox-2012-6

"Overall, the Xbox group has lost $4 billion for Microsoft. However, since 2007 it has made $1 billion. (Note, this chart doesn't include 2002-2004 when it piled up losses getting the business off the ground.)"

So PS3 still lost a few billion more this gen

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
