I understand we all have preference, but to state length is the sole indicator of purchasing something seems bit odd to me. Maybe because I grew up when games routinely could be beaten in few hours (assuming you don't die over and over) that a really great 2-3 hours (Contra is a great example) sounds fine to me. Rather that than add chaff just to pad the experience. I will likely get The Unfinished Swan as it appeals to me. |
yeah that's true, in the past short was normal^^ and as example an xbox arcade game like spelunky which was released few months ago takes maybe few minutes or so if you wouldn't die. the fun comes from the experience you have to beat that shit^^ (or games like geometry wars or pacman haha)
