Sony could have released a $300 PS4 that is about 4 times the power of the PS3 this holiday

Fall 2013 is going to be interesting though, likely the first time Microsoft and Sony have launched consoles head-to-head directly. Gonna be a bloodbath I think.

I suspect MS will try to drown Sony out and go for the early knock out by outspending Sony on marketing and exclusive content.
