I play games a lot more this gen than i did any other gen. So i say everything you stated was a good thing for me. Although i do find it annoying with the lack of single player games there are these days. Would i like a 50+ hour campaign? Yes do we get them? not as much as last gen but it is easily made up in the infinite amount of hours we can play online.
