Secondary uploaders will bump the videos up to 1080p to make it seem higher quality than it actually is just to get hits.  Always find the proper official source to figure out the actual max resolution.

Like I said, it's only the downloadable-sized games that are confirmed 1080p in the launch window.

You say this while quoting mulitple confirmations of downloadable-sized games that are confirmed 1080p in the launch window.

Also, all trailers on the official channels are 720p, even the ones that are well knwon to be 1080p

You're right sometimes 1080p games get 720p trailers.  But you were using the faux-1080p Tekken and Gaiden media as proof that they are full HD.  I'm not saying those games couldn't possibly be 1080p, but we have no actual proof yet.

No it isn't. Every game that is officially comfirmed to be 1080 still has a 720p trailer. All game trailers on the official channel are 720p

I don't quite understand what you're saying, we agree on the 720p trailers. "No it isn't"  doesn't actually make sense within the context of the conversation.  But to clarify what I meant in the bolded statement above, I was referring to your previous statement in this thread: "The releases media for Ninja Gaiden and Tekken as well as all games with a* are 1080p so I'm going by that."

I was simply reiterating that there has been no 1080p media release for those games yet.  Any videos, etc. that end up greater than 720p (which come from the official channels) are simply copied, then upscaled and uploaded.
