Is Ryan Gosling the coolest movie star the world has seen?

I don't usually like pretty-boy new comers, but Ryan Gosling isn't a new comer by anymeans.

Does anyone remember Young Hercules?  Or Love Boat, the new wave?  I was a fan of his when he played those characters.
