About half the posts in this thread have been an attack on your optimism, because the time it took the Vita to reach 1m isn't really an accomplishment that calls for "celebration time".

It sure did take a long time, but the fact that it actually reached 1 million is worth the celebration, wether people like it or not. It doesn't give you the right to insult me. People feel offended when I act like that, this is very surprising. Why does it offend them, I'm having a very great time with my Vita.

Then you have immensely low expectations for the Vita in Japan.
