If PS+ would not be good for SONY they would have trashed the service along time ago.

Don't be so sure about that. Sony often is in it for the long run and they might see PS+ as an investment that will pay off later by creating good will, trust and loyalty among gamers. But that doesn't necessarily mean it's a successful strategy.
