Nintendo will naturally put a positive spin on their results. It's especially easy to do this when using percentages.

Expected? Not really. But it's not uncommon, because companies tend to mess up; and Nintendo really did with the 3DS, that's why they are still in the process of rectifying their errors. The current numbers don't mean that they are in serious trouble, but they are still falling short of their own expectations.

Yeah, they really fumbled with the 3DS... 2011 really wasn't their year; messing up the launch of 3DS and the end of Wii...
