Wii U isn't an HD console? 

It is a last gen HD console .

Its actually a 2 gens old console. Wii is 2 Gamcubes duct taped together. Wii U is 2 Wiis/4 Gamecubes with duct tape.

 

OT:Consoles are holding back PC gaming in a pretty big way at this point so I hope there will be some new high horsepower consoles coming soon.


How are consoles holding back PC gaming?

Doesn't PC have its own exclusives?  Answer: Yes it does.

 

Then where are the PC exclusive next gen softwere tech'd games that can't be done on console?  Answer:  DIABLO 3.

Consoles are holding the PC back.

Super high-end PC exclusives do not have a high-enough userbase to sell to in order to be profitable. If consoles were more powerful, then more powerful games would be made cross-platform on both the consoles and the PC, giving us PC gamers higher-end games. The PC can handle these games, but the current generation of consoles cannot, so the games simply aren't being made yet.

Hence, consoles holding back the PC market.
