There are some things on vgchartz we can be sure of, some things we can speculate. This is something we can speculate on. I think like soundwave realized the newness factor of Wii is no longer a selling point, now WiiU must sell off of intrinsic value. It goes without saying this is speculation, please feel free to disagree

What was so new about the Wii again because i remember a certain fanbase claiming they're favorite company beating Ninty to the punch with motion control gaming and now they are claiming otherwise to help their argument against the WiiU.
