Resident Evil is just not perceived as a handheld game. Revelations did absolutely fine for what it is and it still keeps chugging along. There was a significant increase in sales from mercs to revelations and if Capcom keeps releasing RE games on handhelds the franchise is absoluely capable of growing into a respectable handheld staple.
Am I the only one who would welcome a Zero/CV Remake/Collection on 3DS? Would be relatively cheap to make and further help the franchise to be acknowledged on handhelds. And I'm pretty sure with 3-4 RE titles more people would make the jump and Revelations and Mercs sales would further increase.
