Makes sense. So the companies you care about, to answer my question a bit, what are they and what games would make you interested in the U? Also, as for promises, it should be pretty clear that Nintendo has been filling its share of promises. They said they would cater to the core, the WiiU launch is anything but lackluster, the console comes in 2 SKUs, just like the HD twins, with a full Internet framework and online store, and even boasts a pro controller "just in case", because core gamers are finicky. So I think promises are on Nintendo's side atm, then again it's your money and I fully understand that. |
i like jrpgs so the companies i care about are level 5, square enix and namco mostly. so far the most interesting game on the wii u for me would be dragon quest.
if it gets jrpgs and they sell well i would consider getting it as long as they are exclusive.
i didnt like that they region locked it. it wasnt a good call on their part and it doesnt make any sense nowadays.
this generation jrpgs havent sold very well on systems that arent the ps3. tales of graces didnt get localized outside of japan for the wii. so i'll wait and see what kind of support the wii u gets in terms of jrpgs in the first 3 years at least cause those kinds of games take a long time to release and localize.
