And you keep stating that kind of thing in almost every thread you create... why?

It's a given that the Wii U will be able to achieve more than the current systems running on 6-7 years old tech.  I don't know why you feel the need to focus on that so much.

Need to compensate much?

As you can see in this very thread itself, some peoiple here still think the Wii U is weaker than the PS3/X360.

I could make a PS360 game that runs at 1080p 60FPS with Vsynch, full 16x AA and even 3D... it'd be a side scroller with stick people, whey!

Wipeout HD on PS3 is graphically intensive and it runs at 1080p, 60FPS.

Wipeout HD has a dynamic framerate.   This means it can render up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps but is uaually held much lower to keep frame rates up.

It runs in 1920 x1080, 1728x1080, 1645x1080, 1600x1080, 1500x1080, 1440x1080 and 1280x1080 and it switches frame by frame to keep the 60 fps.

It's actually a very clever design and more games are starting to use it but this game doesn't actually run in full 1920 x 1080 but during slow sections.

That video could have been run on any system. Was it real time? Doubt it highly. So far launch muitl plats are looking worse on wii u, don't give me that launch games non sense, the wiiu has twice the ram for games and newer gpu, it should out shine ps3 out of the gate, but it's not. The difference between 720 and 1080 is marginal to the viewer, even less so on a game like puddle. Trust me, puddle is nothing to be excited about.

Indeed it was in real time.  You could manually adjust the camera in real time which is impossible to do with recorded video.
