It's a given that the Wii U will be able to achieve more than the current systems running on 6-7 years old tech. I don't know why you feel the need to focus on that so much.

Because there are some misinformed people that still think that Wii U is equal or slightly better than these old consoles. I think that's why lilbroex insists on this.

Most people on VGChartz are knowledgeable enough to know that the Wii U is going to be more powerful than the current consoles. Maybe if he was trying to convince people on some other random parts of the net, but here, people are pretty much in the know with what's going on in the industry...
At this point, his behavior is quite obsessive.
