Well if you unnaturaly limit the variables "specifically" to only when the PS3 was showing some sucess and only the few areas that it did in that time frame then yes...but I'm not limiting the variables.

When I said "like" the others consoles I specifally pointed out that wasn't true "because" the PS3 only displayed high prices up to christmas. The other consoles kept it up for months and the Wii for years. That is the point I was making from the very beginning.

I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not unnaturally limiting anything. PS3 was within the norm of any other console except Wii.

Wii was the only console to have high Ebay prices after their first Christmas shopping season. That's kind of why Wii was so extraordinary in its first few years as its stock situation was 'sold out' (at least in NA) for over two years. Thus creating two full holiday seasons of crazy Ebay selling and one more of slightly above retail. No other console has been sold out past its first holiday season like that.

Francis said this works with every new console in a thread about WiiU that is sold out at launch. Every console that sells out at launch has profit to be made on Ebay. PS3 was no exception. You said PS3 didn't do it and it did. The CNN article says it did. My personal experience says it did. Others in this same thread says it did.
