WindyCityHeat said: What is he supposed to say, It will fail like the wii failed... Yeah his job is to be positive. Lets just get this thing released then after a few.months it'll be clear what the situation is lol. |
Oh, shit! Have you called for an ambulance or anything?! If you have medication you really should take it, like, right now!! I think you're ill =/ you're hallucinating mate! Wii WON the gen and didn't fail at all. You really should have a seat and take some deep breaths.... Maybe that'll clear things up for you

Wii didn't fail as a console, but it failed to get proper 3rd party support. I'm guessing that's what he meant.

Well, considering that Ubisoft have said themselves that 42% of their revenue came from Nintendo consoles. I'd say that isn't failing... And to say that WiiU will fail to get proper 3rd party support is plain stupid. ZombiU, Rayman, Rabbids, Bayo2, Wonderful 101, Darksiders2, CoD BO2 isn't failing. And then we got Monster Hunter and Dragon Quest as launch titles in Japan. That's the 3rd party support that will win Japan for Nintendo. So they're far from failing, which means that WindyCityHearts statement is BS.

Bold: Just Dance 1 through Kids or whatever it was called. Raving Rabbids and other stuff I can't remember. Is that what you'd call proper support? I'm not talking about revenue from specific publishers, I'm talking about games and that's where the wii 'failed'...in 3rd party games.
The games you mentioned are launch window games, which is why he said "after a few months it'll be clear what the situation is". I'd say instead that once we know everything about MS and Sony's next consoles the situation should be a bit more clear.

Agreed.
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
