I know what vita means, I had to learn Latin in school for more years than I ever wanted and vita is one of the first words you learn and one of the easiest to remember for the rest of your life. I find it strange anyway that on this website the meaning of vita has been explained several times by people at several occasions as if it ever needed explaining. It's not that this latin word ain't an obvious part of life-related terms like vitality, vitalise or vitamin. PS Vita is a strange name for a gaming device imo (but definitely not as strange as Wii U is or as PS Vitamin would've been). Vita meaning life ain't a proof that Sony will use the name Playstation forever. That's a funny reasoning. But anyway, so much for the PSV.
Like I said, It's just a feeling that both, Microsoft and Sony, despite the extensive use of their brand names might want to re-brand their gaming divisions at some point (and I think Sony could've already started with the PSV). I could be completely wrong though, and both companies are probably still perfectly fine with their well-known brand names.
