theres no way the last of us will outsell god of war. god of war is a huge, established franchise with a big following. the last of us is a new ip and they rarely sell big numbers. 

I remember the days when people didn't think Uncharted would outsell God of War. Ignoring the big ones, Drake's Fortune goes toe-to-toe with God of War games. And Uncharted had a lot more to prove than The Last Of Us does. With God of War being a 4-5 mill seller, it's a strong franchise, but not really "huge". I can see The Last Of Us reaching that.

Needs 90+ on Meta to be reasonably confident of that. Less than 85 on Meta and people will be calling it a serious disappointment. It'll still sell millions, but not 5 million+.

P4 The Golden might get to 100K pre-orders by release. That's a very good pre-order number of PSV in the USA. Perhaps too good?
