| Coca-Cola said: Saw it last night. Simply amazing. The movie is much more than what the previews showed. So many twists and surprises. When that kid (amazing actor) did that . . . . . .. . - I was like wft!!! and I don't do too many wtfs in movies. Acting was superb - again by that kid. action sequences are good, not great, but that doesn't matter. I know most of you will think I'm crazy, but I liked this one more than "Inception". Yall better go see it. |
Thanks for the input man!
I saw it several days ago. I was actually a bit disappointed. I still liked it, and there were definitely some awesome moments. I think the problem, though, is that the trailers set me up to expect a story fairly different than that which actually happens.
I saw it with my friend, who just graduated from Temple's graduate film program. He really liked it, but felt the same way I did regarding the expectations set up by the trailers. I think his opinion was moreso that it was just different from what he was expecting; not worse.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt did a pretty awesome job as young Bruce Willis. Commendable and awesome. And as always, Bruce Willis was the man.
My friend and I both agreed that it's one of those movies that needs to be seen a second time to really appreciate. I'm going to see it again, soon. I have a feeling I'll like it a lot the second time around, especially now that I know what to expect.
