Yeah if you crank it up and are haven't played enought to let your eyes adjust you'll have issues. Try cranking up the brightness on your lcd tv and see if that hurts your eyes. Most games are most enjoyable to play with the 3d near the low end of the scale. You still get some depth without any strain on your eyes.
