Like I said, TTYD is a fantastic game, but my least favorite Paper Mario, with the first being my favorite. But I don't attack one game to make the other better. BTW, even more mind-blowing were the areas in Super Paper Mario, I don't see you complimenting it.
This paper Mario features a whole different graphic style. It's cool to see how mushroom kingdom looks in cardbox, instead of going to fluorescent forest right in the beggining. Look at the edges of the hill (right in the middle), that cardbox finish is beautiful. It's good to rediscover Mario standards again through a different lens.
Maybe they can get wacko in later levels, maybe not. Either way it's fine.
