In other words: Xbox users are willing to spend more money on gaming entertainment, while Playstation users tend to spare some of that money (which would have been spent on more software or online features) for blue ray entertainment.

The 360 has several streaming services which are apparently quite popular, so adding blu-ray to the equation probably just muddies the observation that x360 owners buy more games than PS3 owners.
