ps2 is alive in countries that cant afford much else. and sony doesnt even really support it anymore

but just like the psp with vita the ps2 ate into the ps3 sales. once sony started focusing on the ps3 dropped the ps2 and ps3 dropped (even the first price drop to 500 dollars) ps3 started selling well
