MM and TP are both way more mature for reasons I don't even have to explain.
Link's awekening with the fact that you are in a dream/nightmare of a mythical creature and by waking him up all the world around you will dissapear/die imo has a way more mature mood.
SS with the story making us feel actual emotions because it made us care about zelda. Link losing his childhood friend to a demon who wants to sacrifice her is also more mature.
Havn't played the first 2 zelda games but they both seem like core mature games at the time aimed at late teenagers.
So I totaly disagree, OoT is not a mature Zelda game, the characters and the music are as playfull as any other zelda games. The dongeons may be slightly more spooky than some games tho, but other than that, I cant see what you guys are seeing.
