I'm thoroughly enjoying the Wii -- had to send it in for warranty replacement due to a GPU glitch, but I put off sending it in for longer than I meant to. Finally did it as the May software releases have been light, and when it came back 10 days later the first thing I did was play a few rounds of Wii Sports Tennis and Wario Ware. I honestly missed that little white box! I also realized that I depend on the Wii's Forecast and News channel more than I would have guessed. Absence apparently makes the heart grow fonder. I finished Super Paper Mario over the holiday weekend, and am currently putting time into Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the Virtual Console. And there are 4 new Wii games coming out this week here in the US. I was interested in Mario Party 8, but the reviews have been dismal; Surf's Up and Tamagotchi: Party On! aren't interesting to me either. But Mortal Kombat: Armageddon may do the trick, reviews have been good and I haven't seriously played an MK game in over a decade. So six months in (bought mine a week late on 11/26/07) I'm very much enjoying this platform. Looking forward to some great games in June and through the end of the year.
