The problem I'm having is that those games don't exist YET. It is not reasonable to assume more third party support is coming, because it didn't for GC and that was even stronger at launch.
You're conflating a single person buying ZombiU with "the kind of audience" suddenly existing. A single sale of ZombiU will not convince any executive to support Wii U who wouldn't already; DON'T make purchase decisions with the aim of 'supporting' a company or making something happen. I'm saying you should buy the games you want /when they are announced/, not buying in any expectation of those games appearing, because they might well not! Third party support does not depend on "MY" choices.
The article is wrong because it is using "well these games might come eventually" as a reason to buy the console at launch. That's bad decision making.
if you're buying for third party games wait for them to actually be announced, and make sure that the Wii U version is not inferior to PS4/720.
